LayerPDF is designed to do its core work on your device. This policy explains what that means and what limited website data may still be collected.

Your files
The PDF and image tools in this release process selected files locally in your web browser. Your documents are not uploaded to, processed by or stored on LayerPDF servers. Generated files are represented by temporary browser download links and are cleared when you close or refresh the page.
You should still keep a backup of important originals. Browser extensions, device software and networks outside our control may operate under their own privacy practices.
Website and technical data
Like most websites, the hosting provider may record basic request information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp and security events. We may use aggregated traffic measurements to understand reliability and which pages are useful. We do not intentionally include the contents of your documents in this data.
Advertising and cookies
LayerPDF uses Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, device information and similar technologies to deliver, measure and personalize ads under their own policies. Where required, a consent choice is presented before non-essential cookies or personalized advertising are used.
Third-party links
Links to Node & Layer or other websites open services we do not control. Their privacy policies apply once you leave LayerPDF.
Children and sensitive documents
LayerPDF is a general utility and is not directed to children under 13. Even with local processing, avoid using any online tool on a shared or untrusted device for highly sensitive documents.
Changes and contact
